National Louis University is a 4-year, private university located in Chicago, Illinois and Tampa, Florida. NLU's downtown Chicago campus is located Michigan Avenue and occupies five floors of the historic Peoples Gas Building, as well as several floors in the Gage Building. Our Tampa, Florida was established in 1988 and is located in one of Tampa's major business districts, serving students all across Florida. We also have Illinois locations in Lisle and Wheeling and are online everywhere.

Community Heroes Scholarship

The Community Heroes Scholarship can be used by active duty military members and veterans for both undergraduate and graduate degree programs at NLU. Program limitations may apply. Spouses and dependent children may also be eligible for the scholarship.

  • Active Duty Military - The Community Heroes Scholarship will reduce the tuition of active duty military by $167/per quarter for undergraduate; $250/per semester hour for graduate programs. Any remaining tuition balance could be covered by Tuition Assistance, enabling active duty military members to more easily cover the cost of their degree program. 
  • Veterans - Veterans who have been honorably discharged are eligible for the 15% Community Heroes Scholarship. The scholarship can be used in conjunction with your education benefits. The Montgomery G.I. Bill could cover Any remaining tuition balance, enabling veterans to more easily cover the cost of their degree program.
