    The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps seeks qualified and motivated officer candidates for the Air Force and Space Force.

    The mission of Air Force ROTC

    The mission of Air Force ROTC is to develop leaders of character for tomorrow's Air Force. Air Force ROTC is designed to recruit, educate and commission officer candidates as the Air Force's future leaders through college campus programs nationwide.

    Air Force Mission 

    The Mission of the United States Air Force is to fly, fight and win - airpower anytime, anywhere. Whether full time, part time, in or out of uniform, everyone who serves plays a critical role in helping us achieve mission success.

    Space Force Mission

    The United States Space Force is responsible for organizing, training and equipping Guardians to conduct global space operations that enhance the way our joint and coalition forces fight, while also offering decision makers military options to achieve national objectives.

TROY's Military & Family Scholarship

The TROY Military and Family Scholarship was introduced to further demonstrate the University’s commitment to those who serve and those who support those who serve. It is also an important vehicle through which Troy University can express a meaningful “thank you for your service”. The Scholarship represents significant value and underlines the University’s commitment to making higher education more affordable for our nation’s military affiliated students.

The Scholarship reduces tuition to $250 per credit hour at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Up to 50% tuition scholarship for military and their family members towards undergraduate and graduate degrees.  Active duty, Reservists, and National Guard members’ tuition will be capped at $250 per credit hour. Military spouses and dependents receive up to 50% in tuition savings. 

The Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)

With over 50 years of service between the University and the Guard, our core goal is to meet the educational needs of our guardsmen and women by offering a broad range of associate, bachelor, and master degree programs through the four TROY Campuses in Alabama. 

The TROY for Troops Centers

Our Centers are designed to provide comprehensive educational support to veterans, service members, dependents, and survivors. We provide a place where our students can continue to experience camaraderie, enjoy the student lounge and computer lab, join student organizations: SALUTE Honor Society and Student Veteran Association (SVA), and explore career resources. 

Troy for Troops Centers are located on Alabama campuses at Troy, Dothan, Montgomery and Phenix City, Troy University Clarksville, TN, Troy University Pensacola, FL and Troy Online.
